Tibetans take exception to China's protest over Dalai Lama meeting President Mukherjee

Dharamshala, Dec 18 (ANI): Exiled Tibetans in Dharamsala strongly condemned China's dissatisfaction over a meeting between their spiritual leader the Dalai Lama, and Indian President Pranab Mukherjee. Mukherjee hosted the Dalai Lama along with other Nobel Peace prize winners to a conference at the presidential palace on the rights of children on December 11.

Others who attended, and spoke at the summit, included Princess Charlene of Monaco and the former president of East Timor, Jose Ramos-Horta. An activist of Students For a Free Tibet (SFT), a non-profit fighting for human rights of Tibetans, Ringzin Chodon said it was high time China learnt that it could not always dictate terms.
