TN's first Centre for Excellence for cut flowers inaugurated

Thally (Tamil Nadu), Dec 08 (ANI): Gil Haskel, head of Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation (MASHAV), arrived in India on Thursday to inaugurate the Centre for Excellence for cut flowers under Indo-Israel Agriculture Project (IIAP) in Tamil Nadu, the first such centre in the state and fifteenth in India. He said that Israel with its advanced-agro technology aims to improve the state and livelihood of farmers in Tamil Nadu and entire India.

He further shared his objective of establishing one such centre for excellence in each state of India. Haskel expressed his ecstasy over the accomplishment of this project which will provide training to farmers and make them tech-savvy to solve problems.
