Two Maoists surrender before police in West Bengal

Purulia (West Bengal), Aug 09 (ANI): Two Maoists surrendered before police in West Bengal's Purulia district. The two rebels included a woman named Rani Munda alias Pooja who had joined the Maoist squad in 2015 and Hazari Hembrom alias Bijoy.

Superintendent of Police Joy Biswas said the state government's surrender rehabilitation policy team has reached the town to accept the surrendered rebels for returning in the mainstream and bringing in a peaceful environment in the region.
