Two Nepalese girls rescued from Saudi diplomat's house in Gurgaon, allege rape and torture

Gurgaon, Sep 09 (ANI): Two Nepalese girls, alleging torture and rape, have been rescued by the police from DLF area in Gurgaon. The girls have accused a Saudi Arabian, who works in the embassy, of confining them in his upscale flat in Gurgaon, torturing and starving them, and raping them repeatedly.

They worked as domestic helps in his house for the past four months. They were rescued by a police team which was tipped off by an NGO.

The FIR lodged at DLF-II police station mentions gang rape, sodomy and wrongful confinement. Police have not named the Saudi in the FIR as he possibly enjoys diplomatic immunity, which means cops can't arrest him.

An NGO, Maiti-India, alerted the Gurgaon Police about the plight of the two Nepalese, following a tip-off by a third Nepalese domestic help who managed to flee some 10 days ago from the Saudi official's flat in a residential complex behind Ambience Mall.
