What your eyes say about your health

New Delhi, Nov 29 (ANI): Eyes are not just mirror of your soul but of your health too. Your eye doctor can spot several problems that might easily slip out of your notice.

Here are some of the common symptoms and what they indicate about your health. Yellow spots: You may have diabetic retinopathy, a condition where diabetes affects the circulation in your eye.

Cloudy eyes: If you're noticing clouded vision, you probably have a cataract. Most people get cataracts as they age, but it is noticed in young adults too.

For younger people, cataracts may mean a deeper health condition. For instance, both diabetes and a tumor can cause cataracts.

The sleepy look: A common cause is an underdeveloped eye muscle. More seriously, though, sleepy eyes can also indicate a stroke or cancer, both of which could weaken the eye muscles.

If eyes droop on both sides, it may be an autoimmune disease called myasthenia gravis. Dips and kinks: This may indicate that your blood vessels are too constricted.
