Women in pink participate in awareness run 'Pinkathon'

New Delhi, Sep 06 (ANI): Hundreds of women took part in India's biggest all-women's awareness run in New Delhi on Sunday (September 06). Called the 'Pinkathon', the run hopes to get more women to adopt fitter lifestyle and to raise awareness about breast cancer.

Pinkathon was successfully flagged off by SBI Chairperson Ms Arundhati Bhattacharya, Pinkathon founder and avid runner Milind Soman and Women's Cancer Initiative Founder - Deveika Bhojwani from the Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium amongst much fan fare. Hundreds of women, all dressed in pink, took part in the run.

This is the third edition of the 'Pinkathon' run held in the national capital. 'Pinkathon' is an all-women's run organised by the United Sister's Foundation.
