Workshop held to make Srinagar 'smart city'

Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, Dec 10 (ANI): The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, along with the Srinagar Municipal Corporation, organised a two-day seminar-cum-workshop seeking residents' suggestions on making the state capital a 'smart city'. A number of experts from the fields of medicine, engineering, writing, teaching participated in the event held at Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre on the banks of the Dal Lake.

The participants expressed joy over the initiative taken up by the government. Residents of Srinagar came up with their problems which will be forwarded to the concerned authorities.

Rising population and pollution were among few of the subjects debated upon.
