PM Modi vows investors, says his govt. repealed 1200 outdated laws in 3 years

Manila (Philippines), Nov 13 (ANI): Taking the world leaders into confidence on India's governance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday said that around 1200 outdated laws have been repealed in last three years. Asserting that his government has simplified industrial licensing and introduced online application process for environmental and forest clearances, the PM vowed the audience that these changes have made opening a new business 'very easy' in India.

PM Modi, who was addressing the 'ASEAN Business and Investment Summit', added that the results are visible in India's economy. He further said that new laws and institutions have been incorporated concerning bankruptcy, insolvency and arbitration.
