BRS MLC K Kavitha on Tuesday hit out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi saying that she would quit politics if the former AICC president proved that if one extra job was given in any of Congress-ruled states than in Telangana.
Reacting to Telangana Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Bhatti Vikramarka signing an affidavit in a temple and swearing to implement the six guarantees to the people of Telangana, she said the grand old party makes very unreasonable and very absurd promises.
"I want to challenge Mr Rahul Gandhi ji and the Congress party. In any Congress-ruled state, if you have given at least one extra job than what the Telangana government has given, I will personally resign from politics," she said.
"Will Mr Rahul Gandhi resign from politics if you can't prove it. If you can't prove it, don't lie to the unemployed youth of Telangana. Do not cheat people, do not cheat our people using bond papers," she further said.

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday sought the stand of the Centre and city government on a petition challenging provisions allowing only female candidates to apply for admission to B.Sc (Hons) Nursing courses offered by AIIMS, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and Delhi University.
A bench of Acting Chief Justice Mamohan and Justice Mini Pushkarna issued notice on the public interest litigation by the Indian Professional Nurses Association and asked the governments as well as the institutes and Indian Nursing Council to file their replies within four weeks.
Advocate Robin Raju, appearing for the petitioner, said the petition challenged the gender-based eligibility and that in view of the shortage of nurses in the country, persons of all genders should be permitted to apply to the course.
The plea said the petitioner was a non-governmental registered body working for the welfare of nurses across India and was moving the instant petition to highlight the concern that even today .

The Bombay High Court on Tuesday extended till January 10 the interim protection from any coercive action granted to IRS officer Sameer Wankhede, who is named as an accused by the CBI in an extortion and bribery case related to the Cordelia cruise drugs case.
A division bench of Justices P D Naik and N R Borkar said it would hear Wankhede's petition seeking to quash the FIR lodged by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on January 10 and 11, 2024.
Advocate Kuldeep Patil, appearing for the CBI, told the court on Tuesday that Solicitor General Tushar Mehta would argue on behalf of the CBI on January 10 or 11.
Wankhede's counsel Aabad Ponda said he would argue on January 10.
The CBI in May lodged the FIR against Wankhede, former Mumbai zonal director of the Narcotics Control Bureau, and others on the basis of a written complaint issued to them by the NCB.
The central agency's case is that Wankhede and four other accused allegedly demanded Rs 25 crore bribe from actor Shah Rukh K

The President of India and the Supreme Commander of Armed Forces, Droupadi Murmu, on Friday presented the President's Colour to the AFMC and extolled the role of female officers in the armed forces medical services.
The Pune-based Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is in its platinum jubilee year.
President's Colour, also known as Rashtrapati ka Nishaan', is the highest honour bestowed upon any military unit.
Hindu, Muslim Christian and Sikh priests, who were part of the armed forces, performed the consecration ceremony, following which President Murmu presented the President's Color to the AFMC.
The event was attended by senior dignitaries and officials from the central and Maharashtra governments and the armed forces.
Addressing the gathering, President Murmu lauded the institute's role in the armed forces medical services, especially during the COVID pandemic.
