A.Content as you consume is categorized into 2 broad buckets.

●The first one is information - what happened, when it happened, who were involved etc. This information is commonly available to all and will always remain Free to access on the Business Standard website.

Packages & Pricing

Q1. Is it necessary for me to auto-renew my subscription?

A.All our subscriptions are automatically renewed for your convenience. You don't have to worry about renewing the subscription every month; we take care of it for you. Moreover, you have complete control over your subscription and can contact us anytime to change or cancel the subscription.

Q2. Will my membership be auto renewed?

Membership to Business Standard Premium will be automatically renewed every month.

Auto renewal is a key product attribute which enables you gain seamless month on month access to the product and services we offer. Importantly it is non-human intervention based and hence not prone to human errors. We do not offer a single month product.

Q3. How do I change my subscription plan?

A.To change your subscription plan, all you have to do is simply mail us at assist@bsmail.in with the preferred plan.

Q4. Is there any difference between the various packages you offer?

A.All packages offer similar benefits and access levels.

Q5. What are the various packages?

We offer following packages as per your need:

MONTHLY STAR(Business Standard Digital): 249/month

SMART ANNUAL(Business Standard Digital): 1999/year

Q6. Is that your best rate?

A.Our introductory prices are our lowest available rates

Q7. Do I also get the Business Standard newspaper at home with this membership?

A.No, this membership is only for Digital platform.

Q8. Can I create a customized package with the option I require?

A.No, we do not have an option to create your own package. We do offer multiple packages to choose from in order to best fit your needs

Payment Methods

Q1. What are the different payment methods I can opt for?

Currently, Payment is available only through credit cards & debit cards (ICICI & HDFC). Master and Visa Credit Cards being the preferred options. However, you can contact us for an offline (NEFT) purchase for the annual duration.

Q2. Why don't you accept all Debit Cards, Bank Transfers, NEFT, PayTM, Wallets etc?

●Standing Instructions enabled auto renewal is a key aspect of the product we offer. This functionality assists non-intervention based seamless monthly renewal of your subscription access

●The non-auto intervention led alternatives are impractical and prone to human errors which result in a gap in user experience.

●Standing Instruction facility is currently available across limited instruments/ payment channels

●You should soon see more payment options as we are in the process of adding more instruments / payment channels

We do offer all Debit Cards for the Annual Subscriptions. Being long term the dependency on renewals is less.
Q3. Is my payment refundable?/Can I get refund of my payment?

No, we do not offer any refunds. However, you can cancel your subscription anytime.

Q4. Do I need to create an account to buy a membership?

Yes, you will be prompted to register first in order to complete your buying process. You need to create an account using your e-mail ID or any of your social accounts. If you have already registered earlier, you can use the same account for purchase. You need not create a separate account

Q5. What if I don't want to become a member? Can I still read some articles for free?

General Queries

Q1.I am a subscriber/buyer of the print newspaper why can't I get the digital version Free?

A.Digital is an independent product, while some of the content is the same, with the Business Standard Premium access, you get a lot more during the day information, products like newsletters, access to archives etc which are independent of the Print Newspaper.

Q2. I don't live in India. Can I still become a member?

Yes, you can become a Business Standard Premium member from anywhere in the world.

Q3. I am a premium subscriber and I see that you serve advertisements on your platform?

A.Our product promise is muted not in your face advertisements for our premium customers. The objective is to ensure that as a premium subscriber you get clutter free content experience and that is what we promise. Credible and Quality content creation demands resources. The amount we charge you for premium access is a highly subsidized one. Advertisements fill in a part of the funds required. Over a period of time we assure you of a 100% clutter free experience.

Refunds

Q1. Is my payment refundable?/Can I get refund of my payment?

A.No, we do not offer any refunds. However, you can cancel your subscription anytime.

Cancellations

Q1.How & when can I cancel my subscription?

Cancellation is easy and can be initiated anytime for the future with No Questions Asked.

If you wish to cancel your subscription, please write to us 48 hours prior to your card being charged for renewal.

Communicate from your registered email id and send the email with the cancellation request to assist@bsmail.in. Include your contact number for speedy action. Requests mailed to any other ID will not be acknowledged or actioned upon
