The markets plummeted today and lost 2 per cent following a rout in equities across the globe as risk aversion for stocks resurfaced. The Sensex nosedived 364 points in opening trades and continued to remain under pressure due to heavy selling in index heavyweights such as Infosys, Reliance Industries and ICICI Bank.
