    The Shiv Sena on Thursday promised to provide tablets with micro data card free of cost to students in rural and urban areas of Maharashtra if they come to power in October. The tabs would be given to all students studying in 8th to 10th standard under the State syllabus. The course content would be loaded on the tabs with the help of a microchip.

Moving swiftly to keep its poll promise of providing free water to every household in Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government had announced 20 kilolitres of free water every month — it works out to 667 litres a day — to households with valid water connections and functional meters installed by the Delhi Jal Board (DJB).
