Top wealth builders and losers, 2013

And Shiv Nadar, founder-chairman of India's third-largest software exporter, HCL Technologies, topped the list billionaire wealth builders, adding as much as $3.9 billion to his fortune.

    Aditya Birla Group chief Kumar Mangalam Birla lost $445 million in personal wealth. His fortune was worth $8.7 billion in December 2013
