'Vastu-inspired' villas inaugurated

Designed by well known Vasthu expert, Kaanippayyoor Krishnan Namboodiripad, the project is spread over 10 acres at nearby Kakkanad and has 120 independent villas. It combines the best of traditional values and modern convenience, Dr A R Babu, Heera Group, managing director, said. The keys of the villas were handed over today.

The group also had plans to approach the Guniness Book of Records for entering the record book, he said.

The whole project had been constructed based on the Vastu principales, A R Nair, General Manager of the company, said.

Not only the houses, but even the roads have been laid out as per vastu principles, he said. A water treatment plant for drinking water and an overhead water reservoir have also been constructed. A yoga centre, play area for children, swimming pool are among the other facilties at the grammam.

The group also had plans to construct 464 flats on vastu principles, he said adding there were limitations in accommodating vasthu principles in flats.

Heera also has plans to start projects in Bangalore and Kozhikode.
