When the Hindu right-wing escalated its demand for building a grand temple for the Hindu deity Ram in Ayodhya, support came from many quarters and in many forms. Devotees sent bricks from across India and various parts of the world. They stand stacked neatly today at a workshop where the Vishwa Hindu Parishad continues to carve stone blocks for the temple.
