The QS Best Student Cities places Paris on top followed by London, for the number of universities they have, quality of living, employer activity, affordability and student mix.
According to the Independent, QS World University Rankings, take into account cities which must have a population of over 250,000 and must have at least two ranked institutions in the QS World University Rankings.
The top cities in the world considered best for the students include:

3. Singapore
4. Sydney
5. Zurich
6. Melbourne
7. Hong Kong
8. Boston
9. Montreal
