Woods, putters and bananas

Apart from the irons, woods and putters in golfer Digvijay singh's bag, you will always find an energy bar or two. "I never leave my house without these energy bars. They are a must-have," he says as he gives Aabhas Sharma a peak into his golf bag

How many clubs do you have in your bag?
Fourteen. Five irons - 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 - all by Titleist. Three woods - R1, 3 and 4 - by Taylormade. Two long drivers made by Srixon. An 54-degree sand wedge (Srixon RM-12), a 60-degree lob wedge by Srixon. And then I have two Taylormade RBZ woods. I use a Scotty Cameron putter as well.

What brand of golf apparel do you wear?

Louis Philippe sponsors me so both my t-shirt and trousers are of that brand only. The cap which I wear is a Titleist cap.

Shoes?
The most comfortable shoes are by Footjoy and I wear that brand.

Gloves?
I have sweaty palms, so at any given point, there are five to six pairs of Footjoy gloves in my bag.

Golf balls and tees?
Since the day I started playing, I have sworn by Titleist golf balls and I carry three sleeves of golf balls with me. Each sleeve has three ball.

Anything else in your bag?

Apart from energy bars, there are also nuts, almonds, raisins, three sachets of Gatorade and a couple of bananas. Gatorade helps me maintain a high level of fluids and bananas are great for energy when you have to walk for hours on the golf course.
