As part of its global strategy, Suzuki intends to make India its manufacturing hub and has chalked out plans to export its products to over 100 countries.
Starting with Japan, the automaker intends to export its vehicles to European countries like Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands and Spain as well. The success of Baleno hatchback will determine the future of Suzuki’s export strategy.
Launched in October, the Baleno was showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show. Retailed through its Nexa outlets, the Baleno competes with the Hyundai i20 and the Honda Jazz.
