Digital transformation in the automotive industry is complex, with fewer than 1/3 of automotive firms having the digital capabilities required for  transformation, according to Capgemini Research Institute’s Global Digital Mastery Research Series: Automotive Report. Of the automotive firms surveyed, only 28 per cent have launched a new business based on digital technologies.
