ABIL Group expands hospitality portfolio

Pune based real Estate and hospitality major ABIL (Avinash Bhosale Infrastructure Ltd) Group, primarily engaged in real estate and hospitality business and having a presence in energy has planned to expand its hospitality business by setting up two five star hotel properties in Mumbai and Goa.

The company is developing Shangri-La’ is located above ‘Palladium in Phoenix Mills at Lower Parel. The hotel features 390 rooms and 32 suits. The total cost of this project is Rs 1300 crore.

“We have partnered with Phoenix Mills in this venture and are happy to offer a very lucrative option to all those business travelers that come to the city of Mumbai. The property that is just 13 kilometers away from the international air-port and is conveniently located between two main commercial areas of the city including Nariman Point and Bandra Kurla Complex, thus would have a tremendous location advantage”, said Amit Bhosale, Director, ABIL Hospitality Private Limited, the hospitality arm of ABIL Group. “After diversifying in hospitality business in 2001, ABIL’s presence has steadily grown in this segment and till date we have been able to create world class hospitality infrastructure spread across four properties with more than 900 rooms. With a strong expertise and experience in developing the Business Hotels, we are now getting into the luxury resort category,” he added.

ABIL Group is also setting up a luxury resort in Goa and construction work for the same is already underway. The ‘W Resort’ Goa is being set up at Vagator Beach, Goa. Vagator Beach is the northernmost beach of Bardez Taluka of Goa.  The company has invested Rs 230 crore for this property. It is expected to get completed and operational in 2015. The ‘W Resort’ would be spread across 22 acres of land and would house 120 Villas and 15 chalets and four restaurants. The group owns Sun-n-Sand hotels in Pune and Nagpur and Westin Pune.
