Adani Power Q3 loss at Rs 358 cr

Adani Power Ltd, subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Ltd, on Monday reported a loss of Rs 358 crore in the quater ending December 31, 2011, against a profit of Rs 109 crore in the corresponding period a year ago. The loss in the quater was on account of increase in coal prices and forex losses, the company said.

The net sales of the company were up 111 per cent at Rs 1,059 crore in the quarter ending December, against Rs 503 crore in the corresponding period last year.
