AirAsia cancels flights to and from Chennai

Airports Authority of India has closed Chennai airport till Dec 6 due to floods

AirAsia has anounced it's canceling flights to and from Chennai till December 6. 

"We wish to notify guests about the update received on closure of Chennai International Airport. It will remain closed till 12:00 hrs on 6 Dec 2015 due to bad weather conditions," the carrier said.

As a result of airport's temporary closure, all AirAsia flights to and and from Chennai have been cancelled.

Affected guests will be notified via their  registered email addresses and will be sent SMSes about flight status and options available to them, the airline said.
