AMW to expand operations in coal belt

Asia Motor Works Ltd (AMW), has announced that it plans to increase its network and product range in the eastern India especially the coal belt.

The Company in release last week said that the developments in the eastern India, which has some of the largest coal reserves in the country, as well as the increased generation of hydroelectric power, was advantage for its range of trucks in the medium and heavy vehicle segment. AMW has a fully integrated manufacturing facility in Bhuj, Gujarat, with capacity of 50,000 commercial vehicles per annum.
