FloCareer plans to become the largest aggregator for services such as crowd mentoring, self-learning and interview offloading services. The platform uses technology to match applicants with the right jobs while also providing them with mentors to enhance their skills.
"There are lots of portals and services where individuals claim their skills, but there is no good platform where skills can be validated for the benefit of individuals and employers. We are glad that respected professionals in the industry understand and want to back an idea that aims to solve this issue," said Mehul Bhatt, co-founder & chief executive at FloCareer, in a statement.
The firm plans to utilise the capital to strengthen its platform, while also marketing itself to job seekers and companies. It would also reach out to other professionals in the industry to validate an individual's skills and match them to the right job.
Unlike most other job portals, FloCareer is looking at a data driven as well as manual model to help individuals and companies find a perfect fit. The company plans to differentiate itself with its mentor driven model that will also take pressure off companies in finding the right resources.
