Bharti Touchtel today launched digital subscriber line (DSL) services in Delhi, Chennai, Karnataka and Haryana under the brand name Zipnet.
The DSL service gives customers high speed Internet connectivity without engaging the telephone lines. Zipnet does not require any additional lines for making telephone calls.
Another advantage of DSL service is that customers do not have to dial up any ISP for access, their machines are connected to the Net 24 hours a day.

Touchtel has introduced the service for a monthly charge of Rs 995 for 100 hours of usage.
For additional usage, subscribers will have to pay Rs 10 an hour. Zipnet is available in a bandwidth package of 64 kbps, 128 Kbps and 256 Kbps.
Customers will also have to pay a one time charge of Rs 3,000 as registration fees.
