Britannia Industries, IDFC & Shriram Transport Q3 results

Britannia Industries on Friday reported 44.8 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 54 crore for the third quarter ended December compared to the corresponding quarter last financial year. Net sales for the quarter increased by 15.4 per cent to Rs 1,247 crore compared to the year ago period.

IDFC Q3 net profit up 18.6% at Rs 381.21 crore

Infrastructure Development Finance Company posted a 18.6 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 381 crore for third quarter ended December. The income from operations rose by 25.5 per cent to Rs 1,639.2 crore against Rs 1,306.3 crore in October-December 2010.

Shriram Transport reports Rs 302.68-cr profit

Shriram Transport Finance Company has reported a marginal increase in net profit during the quarter ended December at Rs 302.7 crore as against Rs 301.36 crore. Total income increased to Rs 1,478 crore for the quarter from Rs 1390.7 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.
