The company currently has 70 employees in Muscat, serving over 25 clients across sectors like oil and gas, aviation, engineering, banks and government.
The company operates in Oman through its subsidiary, Wipro Gulf LLC, which was set up in 2011. The subsidiary has seen "rapid growth" in the last three years since inception, Wipro said in a release today.
"In continuation of our long term business outlook for Oman, we are seeing a lot of interest from clients in the region for services around business enablement, simplification and analytics," said Mukund Seetharaman, general manager and business head for Gulf at Wipro. "We are committed to delivering world class solutions and building on our existing footprint to create new job opportunities in the local market."
