The Competition Commission of India has said Yash Raj Films (YRF)’s exclusive screening deals with single-screen cinema theatres for its film Jab Tak Hai Jaan did not amount to an anti-competition practice. Jab Tak Hai Jaan is slated to be released on November 13. Earlier, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn had approached CCI, accusing YRF of using its dominant position in the industry to secure exclusive deals with single-screen exhibitors for its last blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, edging Devgn’s Son Of Sardaar out of the competition.
