Cera net profit rises to Rs 52 crore

Company registers a sharp increase of Rs 176 cr in net sales income for 2013-14

Cera Sanitaryware Limited, one of the fastest growing bathroom solutions providers in India, has registered a net profit of Rs 51.91 crores for the fiscal 2013-14, showing a rise of 12.33 per cent over Rs 46.21 crore net profit clocked in 2012-13

The company registered a sharp increase of Rs 175.82 crores in the net sales income for 2013-14. The net sales income of the company rose to Rs 663.69 crores in 2013-14 from Rs 487.87 crores in 2012-13, the company added.

The turnover of the company for 2013-14 touched Rs 663.69 crores, a growth of over 36 per cent from the previous fiscal.

"Cera has once again demonstrated that it enjoys overwhelming customers' preference and support. This is evident from the fact that our growth has been achieved in spite of the market witnessing slowdown," said Vikram Somany, chairman and managing director, Cera Sanitaryware Ltd.
