Gujarat-based Cera Sanitaryware Limited, has registered marginal rise in the net profits for the third quarter ended December 31, 2011, at Rs 7.95 crore against Rs 7.65 crore in the same period last year, showing a growth of 3.9 per cent.
The company's net sales income stood at Rs 82.48 crores for the period reflecting a growth of 12.5 per cent over a growth in income over what was achieved in December quarter of 2010-11, the company informed in a statement issued on Monday.
The EBIDTA for the period has totaled Rs 11.78 crores recording an increase 20 per cent over EBIDTA of Rs 9.81 crores registered during October-December 2010 period.
For the nine month period of current fiscal (April-December 2011) ending in March 2012, the company’s net sales income has jumped by 31.65 per cent to Rs 220.41 crores compared to Rs 167.42 crores in the corresponding period last year.
The net profit for the nine month period rose by 16.5 per cent to Rs 22.5 crores as against Rs 19.3 crores last year.
The second expansion of the company's manufacturing facility has augmented the total manufacturing capacity from 2 million to 2.7 million pieces annually, up by 35 per cent.
