CESC Q1 net up 4.8% at Rs 131 crore

R P Sanjiv Goenka Group flagship company CESC today reported 4.8% rise in the net profit at Rs 131 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013 as against corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

The net sales of the company in the period stood at Rs 1,419 crore, registering a marginal 1% growth.
