Chinese two-wheeler manufacturer PMI Motorcycle Asia Ltd will set up a joint venture with Dayang Nagakawa Motors Ltd (DNML) at Manesar in Haryana.
A agreement to this effect was signed between PMI, the fifth largest two-wheeler manufacturer in China and DNML at Shanghai today, in the presence of Haryana chief minister Om Prakash Chautala, who is on a business trip to that country, a state government spokesman said here.
This will be the third venture in India that is going to manufacture Chinese motorcycles in India.
At the moment, the Indian motorcycle market has only one manufacturer making Chinese motorcycles - Monto Motors. Monto makes a 100 cc motorcycles which the company claims is enjoying good sales in the manufacturer
