Damodaran on Hindalco board

Former Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) chairman M Damodaran has joined the Hindalco Industries board as an independent additional director, the aluminium maker said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday. The company also plans to raise Rs 1,500 crore by selling 10-year bonds carrying a coupon of 9.8 per cent.
