Defiance Tech bags AS 9100 Revision C certification

Hinduja Group company Defiance Technologies has bagged AS 9100 Revision C certification, considered the gold standard award for aerospace and defence industries globally.

The certification built on the ISO 9001-2008 standard is awarded to companies complying with stringent quality management system parameters specific to the aerospace and defence industries, a company statement here said.

The company has been awarded this certificate for its entire range of engineering, ERP (enterprise, resource and planning) and IT services, it said.

"This AS 9100 Rev C Certification represents another milestone in Defiance's journey in the larger domain of IT, ERP and engineering and specifically in the aerospace and defence verticals," Hinduja Automotive Executive Vice-Chairman and Defiance Technologies Chairman Dr V Sumantran said.

Its requirements call for a sharper focus on aerospace planning and project management and provides greater emphasis on risk management, on-time delivery performance and monitoring of customer satisfaction trends, the release added.
