A couple of days after Dunlop India issued a lay-off notice to about 900 workers at its Sahagunj factory in West Bengal, Pawan Kumar Ruia, chairman of the Ruia group, on Tuesday officially announced the notice would be withdrawn immediately.
“The lay-off notice issued by Dunlop India Ltd will be withdrawn immediately. The company has been advised to immediately issue a new notice to that effect,” Ruia said in a company statement.
