Educomp net down 73%

Educational and training services provider Educomp Solutions posted a third quarter net profit of Rs 6.57 crore, down by 73.2% from same period previous year.

In third quarter 2011, the company had posted a net profit of Rs 24.5 crore.

The net sales of the company stood at Rs 247.1 crore, down by 32.3% from last year.

School learning solutions contributed the maximum amount to the revenues. Similarly, the expenses also came down by 11% as compared to same quarter previous year and stood at Rs 264.1 crore.
