EY shortlists 15 for its annual award

Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will be guest of honour at the felicitation ceremony to be held on Feb 5 in Mumbai

Global services firm EY has shortlisted 15 finalists from 330 nominations for its 16th 'Entrepreneur of the year-India 2014 and has conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award on K Radhakrishnan, former chairman of ISRO.

Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will be guest of honour and Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will be the chief guest at the felicitation ceremony to be held on February 5 in Mumbai.

A nine member Jury led by Kumar Mangalam Birla, chairman of Aditya Birla Group selected the finalists. The other jury members include Arun Duggal, director, Shriram Capital; Kalpana Morparia, chief executive officer, J P Morgan; Keki Mistry, vice chairman & CEO, Housing Development Finance Corporation; Mallika Srinivasan, chairman and CEO, TAFE Group; R. Seshasayee, executive Vice Chairman, Hinduja Group India;   Sandeep Naik, managing director, General Atlantic;  Shardul Shroff, managing partner, Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co. and Dr. Yusuf K Hamied, chairman, Cipla.

The finalists include Amith Agarwal, director, StarAgri Warehousing and Collateral Management; Sanjay Agarwal, Founder and Managing Director, Au Financiers; Kunal Bahl, Chief Executive Officer and  Rohit Bansal, Chief Operating Officer, Jasper Infotech (Snapdeal); Sanjiv Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Finserv; Achal Bakeri, Founder, Chairman & Managing Director, Symphony; Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairman, State Bank of India; Anita Dongre, Founder & Chief Creative Officer, And Designs India; Ashish Hemrajani, Chief Executive Officer, BigTree Entertainment (Bookmyshow.com); Ashok Kajaria, Chairman and Managing Director, Kajaria Ceramics; Yogesh Mahansaria, CEO, Alliance Tire Group; V.K. Mathews, Executive Chairman, IBS Software Services; M.B. Parekh, Chairman and Managing Director, Pidilite Industries;  Dr. Cyrus S. Kotak Mahindra Bank's Uday Kotak, Indigo's Rahul Bhatia, Tata Group's Ratan Tata were some of the previous recipients of the award.
