Madhu Terdal has been appointed as Group Chief Financial Officer of GMR Infrastructure Limited in the place of Subba Rao Amarthaluru with effect from April 24, 2013.
Subba Rao Amarthaluru will continue to be in the services of the Company till July 2013 to ensure smooth transition.

Terdal is also a veteran in the company having worked in strategic finance, international operations and urban infrastructure. In the recent past, Terdal played a key role in GMR divesting its 70% in a power project in Singapore, which gave GMR some leeway from its high debt burden.
