Godrej Appliances, the flagship of Godrej & Boyce, is targeting a 10 per cent market share in the LCD televison segment by 2011. The company currently has 5 per cent market share in this segmetn.
Kamal Nandi, vice-president, sales & marketing, Godrej Appliances, said, “Recently we completed our second phase in four states, and are now operating in these states. We will go pan-India in the fourth phase by 2011.” The company launched its ‘Game LCD TV’ with an interactive gaming console, in the state here on Monday,
The company is looking to grow 40 per cent and achieve a turnover of Rs 2,400 crore this year, from Rs 1,750 crore last year. It would launch 100 more products across categories in the next financial year.
