FMCG major Godrej Consumer Products (GCPL) today said it was open to acquisitions in the emerging markets such as Asia, Africa and South America.
"We are looking at right opportunities in terms of overseas acquisitions basically in three continents - Asia, Africa and South America," GCPL's executive vice president (marketing) Tarun Arora told reporters.
The company was focussing on categories like home care, hair care and personal wash categories, he said.
Moreover, he said in the domestic market the company was looking at organic growth.
He said some of overseas products might be introduced in the Indian market.
