"We are targeting Rs 2,800 crore by 2015 and we want to become amongst top five brands by then. We have managed to position Haier as a mid to high range products brand," Haier India president Eric Braganza told PTI.
The Chinese company is also looking at setting up a new plant in India if the government gives incentives to consumer appliances industry, Braganza said.

Haier India, which has completed 10 years in India, is aiming at a turnover of Rs 2,000 crore by the end of this year on the back of robust sales of refrigerator, washing machines and air conditioners.
"This year we aim to have a business of Rs 2,000 crore with a growth of about 35%," Braganza said.
Last year, the company had a turnover of Rs 1,503 crore.
It has introduced over 65 products in four categories - washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners and panels - under its 'i-age' range this year. It also plans to launch 7 new products by next month.
The company makes washing machines and refrigerators at its Pune plant and would soon start producing some models of flat panels in India.
Haier India is a 100% subsidiary of Haier group and started manufacturing in India by acquiring a 40-acre plant at Ranjangoan at Pune in 2007.
