Hindustan Lever Ltd (HLL) today reported a 14 per cent growth in profit after tax (before exceptional items) of Rs 377.65 crore for the third quarter ended September 30, 2001, up from Rs 331.16 crore in the corresponding period last year. Including the exceptional items, net profit rose by 20.5 per cent to Rs 399.16 crore.
Net sales jumped 7 per cent from Rs 2,461.90 crore to Rs 2,635.2 crore in the third quarter as domestic fast moving consumer goods products reported a sales growth of 10.5 per cent. The company
