Hostra Systems, a Bengaluru-based technology startup, has launched RoomCentral, a cloud-based booking engine and property management system designed specifically for small and medium-sized properties.

By unifying all the property's functions on a single user interface, RoomCentral allows properties to sell, manage and distribute their room inventory in real-time.

"With RoomCentral, we envision empowering property owners with the ability to increase direct revenues, eliminate capital expenditure, minimise operating spends and overheads, and increase staff productivity - all while eliminating dependence on multiple vendors and interfaces," Hostra Systems' co-founder and chief executive officer Atul Prabhu said in a release.

Founded by Prabhu and Rupam Mazumdar, Hostra Systems had received $2 million in first round of funding from angel investor Karanpal Singh in June 2015.
