HT Media Q2 net up 13% to Rs 44 cr

HT Media today posted 12.98% increase in consolidated net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2011, to Rs 43.84 crore.

The company's consolidated net profit of the three months ended September 30, 2010, stood at Rs 38.80 crore, HT Media said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

HT Media's consolidated net sales for the quarter ended September 30, 2011, increased 13.42% to Rs 488.86 crore, against Rs 431 crore during the year-ago period.

The company's scrips closed at Rs 138 per share, down 1.95% from the previous close on the BSE.
