You can now manage your health records just like your Gmail and Facebook accounts.

Making this possible is Hyderabad-based startup Aayuv Technologies Private Limited through its online cloud platform eKincare.com. The application, compatible with iOS/android operating system, allows users to upload their health records and store them for free. It also offers health alerts and medical advisory services.

“We want people to open an account similar to a Gmail and Facebook to manage their health care details. There is no limitation to the amount of storable data. You can simply take a picture of a health report and upload it,” said Kiran Kalakuntla, founder and CEO of Aayuv.

However, for personalised services, Kalakuntla said they would seek the prior consent of the account holder in accordance with the health information privacy guidelines laid out by the US government's Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. “The account data will not be shared with anyone and at any point, individuals can deny or delete the records,” he said.

The company has tied up with corporate healthcare providers, including Apollo Dental, Thyrocare and Vijaya Diagnostics. It is claiming eKincare to be the country's first digital health assistant.

Kalakuntla said the company was having a strong revenue monetisation model, and was tapping into the personalised treatment advisory services to scale the revenue.

Aayuv had raised a total of Rs 2 crore from tech incubator-cum-seed fund Bitchemy and the US-based healthcare enterprise Adroitent Pvt Ltd in Pre-Series A round of funding.

On the total registered eKincare accounts, the company said, "it is in thousands and was witnessing a 150 per cent increase in new additions month-on-moth.
