Financial services provider Indiabulls Financial Services today said its consolidated net profit declined 5.98 per cent to Rs 63.99 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009 compared to the same period a year ago.
It stood at Rs 68.06 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, Indiabulls Financial Services said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Consolidated total income of the group decreased to Rs 415.73 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 546.08 crore in the same period last fiscal.
For the nine months ended December 31, 2009, consolidated net profit fell to Rs 207.02 crore from Rs 348.46 crore in the same period previous year.
Consolidated total income dropped to Rs 1,201.69 crore in the nine-month period from Rs 1,749.49 crore over the same time last fiscal.
Standalone net profit of the company rose to Rs 57.12 crore for the third quarter compared to Rs 36.29 crore over the same period previous year, it said.
Standalone total income dropped to Rs 367.23 crore for the December quarter from Rs 456.14 crore for the same quarter previous fiscal.
