Hyderabad-based infrastructure major, IVRCL Limited, has bagged an EPC (execution, procurement and construction) project valued at Rs 3,624 crore from the ministry of interior, Saudi Arabia.
The scope of work for the turnkey project of constructing pre-fabricated residential complexes in southern areas of Saudi Arabia includes designing and building mass housing for border guards along with installing, testing and commissioning ancillary buildings and external land and infrastructure development in three locations - Dharan Al Janoube, Al Qahmah and Asir Region - in Saudi Arabia.
This would further require designing and execution of all civil, structural, architectural, electrical, sanitary, air-conditioning and mechanical works. The project is to be completed in about 36 months, IVRCL said in a filing the BSE on Monday.
According to the company, 513 buildings are to be constructed for the three sites, with a total built-up area across the three locations being 5.38 million sft. The project includes construction of apartment buildings, villas, administrative buildings, kinders, schools, masjid, recreation, fire-fighting and clinic buildings, shopping centres, playgrounds, operation and maintenance buildings, warehouses, water treatment and sewage treatment buildings, and fuel stations, IVRCl Limited's scrip is currently trading at Rs 15.08 on the BSE, up 10.07%, over the previous close of Rs 13.70 a piece.
