Jet Air's India passenger traffic in Sept up 37%

Jet Airways Ltd, India's largest private carrier by sales, said its domestic passenger traffic in September grew 37.1 per cent over a year ago, while its international traffic rose 36.4 per cent.

Jet Airways has now posted 11 consecutive months of growth in passenger traffic, the carrier said.

The airline, which also combines the operations of low-cost carrier JetLite, has a market share of 26.9 per cent, it said.

The stock of Jet Airways was trading up 0.81 per cent at Rs 795 at 1.30 pm.
