JSW Energy allows joint MD & CEO Sanjay Sagar to exit early

Company relieves Sagar a month prior to contract expiry on July 20

JSW Energy today said it has accepted Sanjay Sagar's request for early relinquishment of office as the joint managing director and chief executive officer of the company. Sagar will be relieved from his duties with effect from 15 June.

Sanjay Sagar's contract was scheduled to expire on July 20 but since the official requested for early relief from his duties, the board has accepted the same, said JSW Energy in an exchange notification today.
