Bank of America Merrill Lynch's (BoA ML) head of India equity research and India equity strategist Jyotivardhan Jaipuria has quit the firm after nearly nearly two decades with the US-based global investment bank.

"Jyoti is leaving after over 20 successful years in the firm. We wish him the best for the future,' said Arijit De, spokesperson at BoA ML.

Jyoti's next move couldn't be ascertained. A message sent to his mobile didn't elicit any response.
